The Sky for December 2020
Sun, Dec 6, 2020
One-minute read
The sky is busier than usual this December. With a conjunction on December 21, that will be putting together Jupiter and Saturn less than a degree apart.
This event will be visible from all over planet earth. This cycle repeats itself every twenty years.
It is an infrequent occurrence as both planets were as easy to see was
on March 4, 1226!.
Please follow the link at Sky at Night magazine for a great explanation of the event, and some great graphics
A great video from Nasa Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
